Expo Casa 2019

Expo Casa, the great exhibition dedicated to building, furnishing and energy saving, returns to the Umbriafiere center in Bastia Umbra from 2 to 10 March 2019.

For thirty-six years the Epta Confcommercio Umbria event has taken us beyond the lines of home, offering ingenious solutions for every necessity, combining aesthetic taste and comfort with safety and environmental sustainability. A unique opportunity for design lovers, professionals and general public to meet and stay up to date, find the right furnishing element, choose the best material and fixture for the construction and restyling of every space.

Thanks to the excellent collaboration with the Academy of Fine Arts “Pietro Vannucci” of Perugia and, since this year, with the course in Design of the University of Perugia, Expo Casa has been renewed and continues to evolve in form and content. Beyond the walls – verso nuovi mo(n)di dell’abitare has been the successful topic of 2017 edition, Less things, more links – per abitare dovunque e comunque in 2018, and the new and stimulating identity of 2019 will be New humanistic experience – costruire futuri, the third step of the Open Minds three-year project, started in 2017. This edition will be about: how cities and homes of the future will be, the importance of recycling (with particular reference to plastic) and the importance of the humanization of technological development.

The exhibition will be characterized by a path designed to improve the visitor’s experience, thanks to Porta Expo 2019, created in collaboration with Gesenu, and to the installation Never Ending Forest and Never Ending Use in Pavilion Zero, that will welcome the public by communicating the importance of plastic as material for architecture and design. Piazza Tecla comes back even this year and it will be placed in the heart of the exhibition as a treasure chest reserved for exceptional events and meetings, part of a rich and stimulating cultural program where, without interruption, mother houses, artists, designers, and professionals will take part. Many great names will exhibit their refined architectural poetry. We will also talk about the re-conversion and redevelopment of abandoned areas as well as about created utopias.

Expo Casa 2019 for the general public is an unmissable appointment, where to find the best of home living, in-depth cultural analysis focused on how to rethink the buildings and offers of the big brands with the possibility of buying directly in the exhibition thanks to the professionalism of experts, large manufacturing companies and retailers.
